node-init

Sets the node-specific parameters.

Syntax

The basic syntax is:

couchbase-cli node-init -c [host]:8091 -u [admin] -p [password] [options]

Description

The node-init command sets the node-specific parameters. .

Options

The following are the command options:

Option Description
--node-init-data-path=PATH Per node path to store data.
--node-init-index-path=PATH Per node path to store the view index.
--node-init-hostname=NAME The host name of the node.

Examples

To set a data path for an unprovisioned cluster:

couchbase-cli node-init -c 192.168.0.1:8091 -u Administrator -p password \
--node-init-data-path=/tmp/data --node-init-index-path=/tmp/index
